More About Environmental Review
Comprehensive Experience
Environmental review can influence every stage of a California development project, from early planning and agency coordination through project approvals and, when necessary, litigation. Lindsay Puckett Law works closely with developers, public agencies, and environmental consultants to identify issues early, prepare thorough and defensible environmental documentation, and help projects satisfy applicable state and federal requirements.
We provide counsel on a broad range of environmental review matters, including:
- Review and preparation of CEQA notices of exemption, environmental impact reports, initial studies, negative declarations, mitigated negative declarations, addenda, subsequent and supplemental environmental documents and related notices
- Review and preparation of findings and statements of overriding considerations and mitigation and monitoring and reporting plans
- Review of air quality, agriculture, biological resources, greenhouse gases, historic and tribal cultural resources, noise, traffic, water quality, water supply, wildfire and other expert reports and studies to support CEQA determinations
- Review and preparation of responses to comments on environmental documents
- Coordination with public agency staff and consultants to prepare for scoping meetings and public hearings
- Tribal consultation and mitigation measures
- Assistance with concurrent preparation of administrative record of proceedings during preparation of environmental document under SB 122
